Bank sells
Jackson State Bank & Trust officials announced Tuesday that they had signed an agreement for Wells Fargo to buy United Bancorporation of Wyoming, the parent company of Jackson’s first bank. Both parties say the sale, once approved by banking regulators, will offer Jackson residents more services.

Targhee hosts rally
Grand Targhee Resort hosted its first ski mountaineering race last weekend, with two-person teams skinning up 5,000 vertical feet on Fred’s and Peaked mountains in 8 inches of fresh snow. The inaugural Grand Targhee Ski Mountaineering Classic drew 17 teams of Lycra-clad racers.
Broncs hoops win
The Jackson Hole High School basketball teams both knocked off conference foe Lyman last week at home in a pair of completely different games. The girls’ squad rolled to a dominant 53-point win, while the boys needed overtime to squeak out a 56-52 victory.
