The North Colter Lodge was built during the summer of 2001 and offers the grand feel of old west architecture with the dramatic look of incredible log trusses throughout the interior of the home. The location at the top of Morley Drive also makes it easy for the adventurous skier to find their way home, yet convenient to walk or ski down to the bus stop to start the day.
The first floor offers a spacious entryway from the two-car garage. There are three bedrooms on this level as well as a media room. The first bedroom has two twin beds with an ensuite bath. Next is a small bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds, ensuite three-quarter bath and sauna. Next door is the media room complete with a 54” big screen TV, DVD and stereo system that is wired throughout the house. There is also a wood-burning rock fireplace and wrap around sofa (double hide-a-bed). In the middle of the first level is the main entry to the house with a magnificent open stairway decorated with a large antler chandelier. Just past the main entry is the second bedroom that includes a queen size bed and again enjoys an ensuite bathroom.
Once upstairs, guests will find a gorgeous living room with beautiful log trusses and big picture windows framing views of the mountain to the back and views of the valley to the front. The focal point of the living room is a beautiful wood-burning rock fireplace as well as an entertainment center complete with a flat screen TV and DVD. A small powder room is conveniently located just off of the living room area. The adjacent dining room has seating for ten people as well as a breakfast bar in the kitchen that will seat an additional ten. There is access to a large deck from the dining/kitchen area where guests can enjoy use of a BBQ grill and private Jacuzzi. The deluxe kitchen is a cook’s dream and includes custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and top of the line appliances. There is a center island with a five burner ceramic cook top and plenty of workspace. For the wine connoisseur there is the added wine cooler.
Down the hall just past the stairway, there is an office for our business travelers, complete with internet access for those who can’t completely get away while on vacation. Past the den is the third bedroom with a queen bed, walk-in closet and large ensuite bathroom. There is a laundry room down the hall as well for guest convenience. At the end of the hall is the amazing master suite. The bedroom enjoys a king size bed, it’s own wood-burning rock fireplace, TV and backyard views. There are large walk-in, his & her closets as well. The master bathroom includes two vanities, two powder rooms, a huge shower, a steam shower and to top it all off, there is a jetted tub in the corner with plenty of windows to enjoy views and light.

We had high expectations because of the price tag, and those expectations were exceeded. We were delighted with our "find" and are returning again this year.

Deposit and Cancellation Policies:
Deposit Policy:
A 50% deposit is due upon booking. For value and regular seasons, the remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the day of arrival. For winter holiday season, the remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the day of arrival.
If you need to change credit cards after payment has been processed, we will accommodate you, however, a 4% charge will be applied.
Cancellation Policy:
For value and regular seasons, cancellation must be received at least 45 days prior to the day of arrival. For winter holiday season, cancellation must be received at least 90 days prior to the day of arrival. If a cancellation is received prior to the required date, the deposit will be refunded minus a one night cancellation fee with a minimum of $100.00. If cancellation is not received prior to the required date, the total amount of all nights will be forfeited.
Other Policies:
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may prevent traveling. The insurance plan costs 7% of your total lodging cost. For complete details, visit http://www.travelguard.com/astp/ . To purchase coverage, call us at 1-800-329-9205.
Note: Travel insurance may be added to reservations any time before final trip payment or before 30 days prior to arrival, whichever comes first. If full payment is due at booking, you may add travel insurance within 72 hours of booking date.

Procedure for Late Arrivals:
Front Desk Hours are 8:00am until 6:00pm daily (varies during “off” season).
Should you arrive after hours, come in the front door breezeway where you will find a telephone and locked key box that contains your keys and a map to your accommodations. The combination to the locked box is 1111. Line up the four tumblers, and press and pull the lock open. In an envelope with your name on it, you will find the keys, directions and a map.
Please re-lock the box and you’re on your way. Please stop by the front desck office the next day to give an imprint of your Visa or Mastercard and formally sign the check-in paperwork.
