Howdy folks! We are excited to introduce our new blog at Jackson Hole Reservations. We felt there was no better place to start than by sharing a brief interview with Ronald Miller, the founder of Jackson Hole Reservations. Enjoy.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> When was Jackson Hole Reservations founded and what does it do?<\/em>
\nAnswer:<\/strong> Jackson Hole Reservations was started in 1997. We started as a small travel agency and became the largest wholesaler of lodging reservations in Jackson Hole within 5 years. We assist tourists and locals with arranging rental condos, homes, or hotels available within the area.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> How did you get into this line of business?<\/em>
\nAnswer:<\/strong> I wanted to start a Jackson Hole property management company and the Central Reservations company that existed at that time would not wholesale our properties and told me I would fail if I started in the business. Lucky for me I did not listen to those voices.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> Why Jackson Hole?<\/em>
\nAnswer: I came to Jackson Hole in my 20’s as a ski bum and loved riding the Jackson Hole tram every day and skiing steep and deep vertical terrain. I had 4 children and had to go to work and get OFF the tram and start a business.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> Is Jackson Hole Reservations one of the pioneers in the area?<\/em>
\nAnswer:<\/strong> Yes, we developed one of the first organized websites with our jacksonhole.net site which still today dominates for viewer traffic in the area of Central Reservation for Jackson Hole.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> What are the plans for the future of the company?<\/em>
\nAnswer:<\/strong> I plan to keep the business in the family and to offer family members ownership positions in the company.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> Do you offer reservations services in other areas?<\/em>
\nAnswer:<\/strong> Yes, in Park City, Utah and Aspen and Snowmass, Colorado.<\/p>\n

Question:<\/strong> Whats been the most rewarding experience with your business?<\/em>
\nAnswer:<\/strong> Growing a strong cash flowing company and watching it grow as a family business to something great and good for the community as well.<\/p>\n
