Beautifully furnished and remodeled quiet end unit. It was very clean and well equipped also. My only complaint was the queen bed upstairs was too hard to sleep on and we had to move downstairs to the twin beds. We love the location.

Beautiful vacation place ..
Awesome place the only thing I would change is the bed up stairs to a queen and a little softer mattress .

excellent location to the parks and the town of jasper, ample parking space, quiet location. The only fault was the shortage of soap bars, two bars/bathroom for six days staying three days is a very minimal, but this is not a major issue

Ponderosa was a Bonanza!
Excellent rental, very clean, and refreshing smelling upon entrance. Only thing was there was no air conditioning. being from the south it seemed strange but the windows opened and it was very refreshing to feel the cool breeze at night.

Pictures don't do it justice!
This condo is much nicer than the pictures show. Be advised if you are looking for a good view of the Tetons from this unit, you will not get it. They were to the right side of the deck, but were obscured by the trees. When we arrived in mid July, the unit was very stuffy and hot. There is no air conditioning, but that was quickly remedied by opening all windows and placing the fans near the windows. We kept thoses going night and day to keep the unit cool and it worked very well. Even with the windows opened and tourists as well as residents nearby, we were never disturbed by noise. It is a very peaceful section of the Aspens community. Also, if you arrive after dark, be sure to take a flashlight. The condo is difficult to find after dark. The housekeeping was excellent - in fact, the best we have ever experienced in a VRBO. There were ample linens, thick and absorbent towels, and comfortable bedding. We did eat at Stieglers, an Austrian restaurant on the property. It was a nice evening of fine dining, but it is pricey ($110 for two without drinks). During the summer months, access to Grand Teton National Park via the Granite Entrance is a quick drive just up the road from the Aspens. If you are looking for a nice hike in search of tranquility, take the moderately easy hike in the Laurance Rockefeller Preserve out to Phelps Lake. We saw abundant wildlife and beautiful wildflowers, and enjoyed getting away from the crowds at Jenny Lake and Yellowstone. We cannot wait to go back in different seasons and would not hesitate to stay at Ponderosa 421 again.
