9) Sky Bar

One of the newest spots to grab drinks and an amazing view is Sky Bar atop the restaurant Lift. Share one of their amazing beer-tubes or tube-a-ritas with your friends while checking out some local music. Their happy hour runs everyday from 3-6 pm. Or stick around for their late night burger, beer, and shot special for under $10.

8) Nani’s Ristorante & Bar

This tasty Italian restaurant is always a great choice for a meal or a casual drink, but come Thursday the action kicks into gear as tables are cleared for dancing and space is made for local legend DJ Vert-One to take over the joint. From restaurant to instant party is pretty much the script every Thursday. Bring your dancing shoes and get funky with it.

7) Q Roadhouse and Brewing Co.

The Q started as a down home barbecue joint, but has since evolved into a brewpub as well, as they brew some of the best beer in the Valley with the awards to prove it. They brew it all and a lot of them pack a punch at 7%, 8%, and 9%. Happy hour runs daily from 5-6 pm and they often have live music. Don’t worry they have plenty of amazing food to go with all those beers and spirits if you get hungry.

6) The Virginian Saloon

Mingle with locals, bikers, cowboys; everyone is welcome when you enter through the swinging doors of the Virginian Saloon. Plenty of big screen TV’s and pool tables to keep you occupied as well as a dance floor that gets bumping when DJ’s are spinning or bands are playing. The Virginian is truly a one of a kind western saloon in Jackson Hole.

5) The Stagecoach Bar

A Jackson favorite since 1942, the ‘Coach as it’s known to locals is always a fun night out in the Tetons. Just out of town in Wilson, at the bottom of Teton Pass, the Stagecoach is the spot to enjoy a local beer, play pool, darts, or even beach volleyball. Thursday Disco Nights are always packed at the ‘Coach as the scene is set with a soundtrack of tunes from the 70’s and 80’s. All ladies get their first drink free and there are complimentary taxi rides at the end of the night to get you home safely. Or check out Sunday Church with the Stagecoach band from 6pm -10pm. The band’s only been playing every Sunday for over 40 years.

 4) Town Square Tavern

Right on the square as the name implies the Tavern offers just about everything you need for a night out. Take one part live music, one part sports bar, and one part restaurant and liquor store, shake it all up and you have got one epic evening at the Town Square Tavern. It’s a great place to watch the game with your buddies. Or stop in on another night as the Tavern morphs into the one of the best spots in town to see live music.  3) The Silver Dollar

At over seventy years old, get a glimpse of how Jackson used to be back in the day when you step into this western watering hole. After all that time travelling you’re sure to be thirsty so grab a seat at the famous Silver Dollar topped bar and have a drink. With over 2,000 uncirculated 1921 Morgan Silver Dollars embedded in the bar top, go ahead try and count em, that’s how this institution got its name. Catch the free live music every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday for some Americana, Country, Bluegrass, or Rock.

 2) The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar

You can’t really come to Jackson and not go there. If you want the full cowboy experience, look no further than the famous Million Dolllar Cowboy Bar right on the town square. Saunter in through the door like it’s still the old west, leave your horse outside, and sit on one of the iconic saddle seats at the bar. They won’t put the bottle down in front of you like they used to do in the old west, but they’ve got whiskey by the barrels, literally, and just about anything else that could quench your thirst from roughing it on the trail all day. The theme wouldn’t be complete without their legendary Western music and crowded dance floor. Make sure you buy a t-shirt on the way out, to wear with pride at lower elevations.

 1) The Rose

The Rose, one of the latest and trendiest additions to the Jackson Hole nightlife scene, features an inspired and inventive cocktail menu, that leaves you feeling like you are in another city or a city for that matter. The Rose, partnered with the famed Lower East Side bar Death + Company, is the reason for the big city feel. It sports an urban décor that boldly states a classic cocktail lounge look of yesteryear, and a drink menu that proudly demonstrates a craftsmanship and invention light years beyond the pedestrian mixed drink. It’s pretty much where all the cool kids are hanging out these days, when they aren’t in New York.
